What Happened!!?

Yesterday I finished getting the brush out of Phina's tulip bed and felt so happy to see the tulips down there.  This morning I looked down at the tulips to admire them again, and not one tulip is showing.  I knew I hadn't harmed them.  I wondered if they were lying down against the ground or what.  I walked down for a closer look and discovered that each tulip has been picked!!  Each stem was plucked right down where the stem comes out of the leaves.  I wondered if the deer had gotten them, but when I realized how long the stems were when they were plucked, I think a person did it.  I wonder if a child picked them to take to school.  There are two tulips still in bud which were not picked.  Someone stole all that beauty from our neighborhood.
