Afternoon
I cleared my paths and steps and the end of my driveway this morning
and now this afternoon, snow is filling them up again. At least it's
still light an fluffly.
I had my piano tuned this morning and I've been taking some time to
play it. When Mr. R. was finished tuning it he said, "It's not ready
for Carnegi Hall but it's pretty good again." My piano is older than I
and I always forget how much older. I have it written down somewhere
and I didn't ask today. But I know that it's not an easy piano to
tune, --something about the steel strings not stretching exactly and
some of them giving overtones of a slightly different vibration. But
Mr. R. always does a really good job with it.
I'm glad to have it back in tune again and that I could try it out for a while this afternoon.

at 12/21/2005 7:13:07 PM- Dawn, it takes a lot of practice if you let it slip, but you could probably pick it up again. I ought to take another picture of our snow. It's getting pretty deep! It's a nice snow tonight, though. It's soft and fluffy and sweeps off the car easily.
