Nervous Nelly

We have a little dog visiting here this week with his people.  His people are working on the outside of the house, tearing off the old aluminum siding, making way for the new.  The little dog is very nervous as to why he can't be outside with his people and wanting to know what's really going on.  He's doing his best to keep tabs on what's happening.  He doesn't make chaos when he puts his little paws on the window sill in the dining room to look outside.

On the other hand, when he was outside for a brief walk yesterday, Rusty got so excited at the window that he jumped up at the window and banged his head hard on the shelf of violets overhead.  He didn't seem to even notice!  Fortunately for me, he didn't knock anything off the shelf.

Silly Rusty! Sounds like something my two goobers would do. :)

Lorraine, your dogs are really big, too. They probably weigh more than Rusty. He was 82 pounds at his last weigh in. He's not a big eater. He's taller than I when he stands on his hind legs, so he can do some damage when he jumps around. By the way, Lorraine, where did you go? I think you dismantled your blog. I can't find you there any more.

Hi NJ. The little monsters of mine are approximately 46 lbs. Siberians are not really big dogs. Most males are around 50-55 and the females are smaller. They can still do a lot of damage, and their skulls are as hard as Rusty's, I'm sure. I will probably be back in the fall. Right now I'm posting once or twice a month, something that I want to make note of, but mostly I keep the blog disabled. Right now I have an entry there about Hawaii. It's just been so busy here, I really haven't had time to do much writing.

Good to hear from you, Lorraine. I have missed you. I really thought your dogs would get to be heavier than Rusty. I suppose it's the long fur that makes them look heavier to me.
