I guess I'm on a roll with lists. While I'm thinking about lists, here's another one:

Attic Secrets

  1. The family skeleton
  2. Old clothes
  3. Halloween costumes
  4. Christmas decorations
  5. Old pictures
  6. Spider webs
  7. Bundles of magazines
  8. Old dishes
  9. Old furniture
  10. Scraps of material for quilting projects

The operative word here is OLD.  However, there is at least one thing that I store in the attic that isn't old and that is:

11.  My winter boots in the summer

    I always wanted to make a bedroom in the attic with the drop down ladder. I thought that would be a pretty neat room if furnished correctly.

    If I ever did that, you could add your son the the list of favorite things you keep in the attic.

    BTW, I saw a news article about a stranger that was living in someones attic. You probably wouldn't include this intruder in your list of favorites.

    Our attic would make a nice little room, but it would be too hot in the summer and too cold in winter.
