Aftermath
After doing so much work yesterday in clearing out the trailer and getting the Checker out from under wraps, I'm feeling stiff and sore this morning. It was a different kind of work but I didn't expect to be using so many different muscles. I really did make a lot of progress yesterday and the stiffness of sore muscles is a gentle reminder that I can feel good about the work that's been completed. As I get to moving around more today, I'm expecting that I'll feel better soon. Muscles like to be used. Muscles NEED to be used.

He also had a little, electric Crosley. The man with the Checker had both cars. What a difference in size! Marlin just liked the Checker. It's really big.

So how did you come to have a Checker? Was Marlin a cab driver? I heard they were really good vehicles! It will be nice getting the trailer gone and the Checker sold, and having all of your legal things taken care of. Must be a big relief!! I still have a garage full of "stuff" from my husband. The kids went to Michigan and had it all sent here, and I am the keeper of the STUFF. :( I so want a clean garage.
