My Art Person

My art person, Carolyn, has seen the picture now and her advice is that I give the branches a little more shading to give it more of a three dimensional quality.  I was thinking, too, that I need to bring the foliage up over the deer a little bit more, and she agreed.  I needed to let it dry more.  I can do that now.  Basically, she liked the picture.

I'm not an art person, but, I truly like your picture. You have a lot of talent; I hope you get it the way you want it. :)

It's lovely! It looks so much like the photograph -- I remember now which one that was. How appropriate that you're painting one of the very things that's passing by your window unnoticed. :)

That's an interesting thought, Leslie. I really loved that photo, for the shimmering quality of the foliage. This painting isn't finished, but almost so. I have to do more definition of the branches and some foliage but it shouldn't change the painting very much.
