Morning Thinking

It's really cold again this morning.  I'm glad to not have to go outside and clear snow away this morning.  I'm thinking it might be too cold to push myself to do Aquarobics this morning.  It's so cold in the locker room and when we return from the pool dripping wet, we all shiver with cold as we hurry to get dressed again.  Some days it is hard to push through that kind of cold. Still, I do feel lots better after I get past the cold part and I'm dressed again.

I liked looking at my painting this morning.  I wish I had an art person here to give me advice about how much to tweak the painting or to just leave it alone.  I'm thinking I should buy lots more canvas panels and stay busy. But on the other hand, I've been thinking about doing this specific painting for months.  Maybe I need to think about a specific painting more before I start working on it.  So far I like this new painting although I'm sure there are some flaws which I should deal with.

Hi Nancy - just dropping by for a second to see what's going on with you. I know you hate to miss the Aquarobics, but, I understand with it being so cold; you sure don't need to get sick. I just bet your painting is beautiful, and I give you kudos for having such admirable interests. Have a good day; I'm off to work. :)

It's hard enough to leave a warm, snuggly bed at 5:30 each morning only to have to get into a warm car. I don't blame you for thinking twice about shivering in the locker room.

It's difficult to be satisfied when we place so much importance on a piece that we've wanted to paint for a long time, huh? You could always view your paintings as sketches, like the early masters did until they decided on the masterpiece. Just a suggestion. It may help you relax and really go with the flow... you might end up with exactly what you'd hope for!

I wish so much that I could paint. I cant draw a straight line, so I am creative in other ways. I am with you on the squirrel too. Only mine are all she's LOLA is what I call her. even when there are 4 of them. They are all Lola's. Basically because I cant tell them apart, and they usually only come 1 at a time. Except one day it was most definately SAL!! He turned around and it was not peanuts he was sitting on! LOLOLLL I feed all of the critters, even the rats that come at night. I dont like them because I know they are under the house, but I just shoo Lint and Sadie out there to chase them away. (or kill the rats)
